Nie Nie Auctions

There are people in the world that are very inspiring. Stephanie Nielsen is one of those people. She does not have an extravagant life, or success by the world's standards-- but she is amazing. She adores her children, and is completely in love with her husband, and lives the Gospel to the fullest. She is good to everyone around-- even her mailman loves her. I would love to be more like her. Recently she was in an airplane accident with her husband, and they were burned severely. To find out more go here. Her family and friends have all rallied around her and her husband and the faith of this family is so inspiring. It is a tragedy for sure, but an amazing blessing at the same time. The whole experience is a true testament that Our Father in Heaven is so aware of each of us, and even when horrible things happen to us, He is there and aware... and He loves us.

Anyway, several blogs are having an auction to raise money for the millions of dollars in medical and day to day bills that will be coming. There are details on Design Mom and my children are up for auction at Kelly McCaleb's blog -- just kidding, it is a photo session and she used Isabelle and Timmy's pictures from yesterday's photo shoot!

So spend some time and look at these fabulous items up for auction, and experience a little bit of this miracle. If you can't afford the auction, donate (there is a link in my sidebar), and if you can't do that, pray. They need more prayers than money anyway. But, please take some time to read about Christian and Stephanie Nielsen. The story will change your perspective and hopefully change your outlook on trials that we all face-- big or small-- that it is not because Our Father has forgotten us, but exactly the opposite.

Hey, they had an article in our paper about them recently and I just spent way too long reading her blog. She is amazing. She definitely makes you want to be a better everything. I hope everything works out ok for them. With just the peek I had into her life I'm sure they will come out even better than before.
